Me

I’m a Senior Doggo

So I’m sure most of you have been hearing all about me via the hooman, I mean she cannot help but talk about me!

What is it with hoomans, they talk about you NON STOP, they are obsessed.

I mean they even pick up our poop and look at it?!

This is not normal behaviour.

But I digress.

I am a senior doggo.

This month I will be 18 of your hooman years and yes I expect all the pompous and party the hoomans get.

As such I am a senior. If you want to know what the equivalent would be in hooman years I am about 96.

So it’s not much of a surprise I’m losing some fur, really now is it?

Or that I want something different to eat every day, I mean do you eat the same every meal? No, you don’t! Yet in my bowl goes the same thing day after day.

And sometimes, just sometimes, I like to be extra taken care of so I put on a bit more of a wibble as I know you’re come running and say, Sally, are you OK? While offering me ALL THE PETS!

While sometimes I seem confused and not sure what’s going on, but when your close I at least know I am safe.

I mean it’s not much of a surprise is it when you think of that way?

But the truth is, I don’t know how long I have left on this world, but I do know that I am going to spend it every day with you. Snuggles, treats and pets are the order of every day, as they always were.

So let’s just focus on the here and now, smile, bark and wag.

Don’t be sad for me, as I still have days to play and want to play with you.
